Makes about two dozen cookies

Ingredients
1 cup chunky or smooth peanut butter
1 cup sugar (1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup granulated sugar)
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Grease a baking sheet with butter and set aside.  In a mixer combine peanut butter and sugars until well combined, about 2 minutes.  Add egg and baking soda and mix for another 2 minutes.  Roll into walnut sized balls and create a cris-cross pattern with a fork.  If you’d like, add a chocolate kiss to the top of the cookies.  Bake for 10 minutes, until lightly browned.  Cool on a baking sheet for two minutes.

1 banana cut into chucks
3 tbsp of peanut butter
1 cup of milk( or soy milk)
1/2 cup of yogurt
Directions:
Blend the banana with milk until bananas are well blended. Next mix the yogurt with the peanut butter together before blending them. Add them to the blender and blend till smooth, creamy texture is formed. If a sweeter taste is preferred, chocolate syrup may be added as well.

1956 – Production of Skippy peanut butter begins at Bestfoods plant in Dallas, TX.

1960 – Skippy peanut butter sponsors “Dennis the Menace” television show.

1963 – Norman Rockwell creates illustrations for Skippy peanut butter.

1977 – June 20, 1977 – Production of Skippy peanut butter begins at Little Rock, AR, plant.

1994 – Skippy Reduced Fat Creamy and Super Chunk peanut butter spread introduced. During the same year Olympic Champion speed skater Bonnie Blair is featured in a Skippy peanut butter T.V. commercial and various other marketing and public relations activities.

1996 – Skippy brand relaunches a more “peanutty” flavored peanut butter.

1998 – Skippy relaunches an easier-to-spread Reduced Fat peanut butter spread. Derek Jeter named spokesperson for Skippy peanut butter.

2004 – Introducing Skippy Snack Bars. Layers of peanut butter and granola combined with other delicious ingredients such as fudge, marshmallow and strawberry.

In early 2000s, Skippy has extended its brand by introducing Skippy Squeez’ It peanut butter tubes and Skippy Snack Bars.

Skippy comes in many different size containers, including a large 4 lb jar, known as the “Family Jar”. In late 2008, Skippy reduced their standard jar size from 18 oz to 16.3 oz by creating a large hemispherical “dimple” in the bottom of the jar while retaining the same height and diameter of the jar.
